Give Your Enthusiasm

Cause A Chain Reaction

Would you like to cause a chain reaction of good in the world? Then live your life with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is contagious and brings out the best in you and others you meet.

Being Enthusiastic Doesn’t Have to be Difficult

Give a genuine smile to the first few people you meet in the morning and wish them a great day. They almost always smile back and keep their smile even after you have left. If not, they probably will give you a skeptical look. That is OK. Once they realize you are not being enthusiastic to get something from them, they will turn around! You have just made their day a little brighter.

Enthusiasm Has Many Benefits

  • It can battle fear and worry
  • It can overcome stress
  • It has the ability to persuade
  • It encourages action
  • It can help you be more successful

Enthusiasm is Contagious

Just think, by being enthusiastic you are inspiring others. Not only are you reaping the benefits of being enthusiastic, but those that are catching it from you are also reaping those same benefits, and so do those they touch, and so on.

Here Are Some Actions To Do Starting Today

  • Smile and greet the first few people you see every morning (regardless if you’ve had your cup of coffee). Do it with passion.

  • Find something that you are not as passionate about today as you should be. As you do that task today, act as if you are passionate about it. Make it a habit to act passionate about it until the real passion comes.

  • Determine your life’s purpose if you don’t already know what it is. Focusing on those things that are consistent with your life’s purpose will help to ensure that you are passionate about what you are doing. The two books we recommend as a place to start your quest are The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren and The Power To Be Your Best by Todd Duncan.

Testimonial

I love receiving Everyday Giving. As the President of a national health agency local chapter, Everyday Giving lifts me out of my traditional way of thinking and reminds me there are many ways to contribute and be giving. It also reminds me of the opportunities I have outside of my work to make a difference.
