Give Your Time
You may not realize this but volunteering your time to help others puts
you in an elite group of remarkable people. According to the U.S.
Department of Labor, only about 28.8% of the United States civilian
non-institutional population, age 16 or over, volunteers any of their
time to helping others. If you donate just one hour per week you will
be in the top 15%!
Volunteering your help does not have to be a full-time job. Many of us
are already working full time. Your work may be at a job or taking care
of a family. That is not a problem! There are many volunteer
opportunities that do not require a significant amount of time.
Don't delay in getting started as a volunteer. Many people are counting
on you to help make this world better in your special and unique way.
